The People’s Archive Plymouth

A dedicated digital archive preserving and presenting the historical story of Plymouth — researched, structured and freely accessible to all.

About the Project

The People’s Archive Plymouth brings together verified historical research, community knowledge and structured archival processes into one permanent digital resource.

Built with support from established Plymouth history communities and backed by The Plymouth Barbican Trust, the project is creating an authoritative, organised and long-term historical record for the city.

The archive will present carefully curated historical content through a dedicated mobile application launching soon.
